      1. Visit the Multimedia University (MMU) website, https://www.mmu.edu.my and fill up the online application form.

      3. Please specify a proposed supervisor (if any) in the application form (for research based programme only)
      4. Please attach the research proposal along with the application form (for research based programme only)
      5. Payment of the processing fee of RM 50 (Ringgit Malaysia Fifty Only) for local applicants and RM 280 (Ringgit Malaysia Two Hundred and Eighty Ringgit Only) for international applicants.
        1. The processing fee payment can be made via cheque/ bank draft/ online transaction.
        2. All payments are made payable to “UNIVERSITI TELEKOM SDN BHD”.
        3. The payment by credit card can be made at the Multimedia University’s Finance Counter during the office hours.

    • Structure Programme Entry Requirement Candidature Period
      A Master of Engineering Science (i) A Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent, in an Engineering or Engineering Technology or related field from MMU or institutions recognised by Senate; or

      (ii) A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.50 and not meeting CGPA of 2.75, in an Engineering or Engineering Technology or related field from MMU or institutions recognised by Senate, and evidence of at least one (1) year relevant working or research experience, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment; or

      (iii) A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent not meeting CGPA of 2.50, in an Engineering or Engineering Technology or related field from MMU or institutions recognised by Senate, can be accepted subject to a minimum of five (5) years working experience in relevant field.

      Master of Laws (i) A bachelor’s degree in Law or Shariah with minimum CGPA of 2.75 out of 4.00 or its equivalent qualification as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR

      (ii) A bachelor’s degree in Law or Shariah not meeting CGPA of 2.75 but above 2.50 out of 4.00 or its equivalent qualification as accepted by the HEP rigorous internal assessment; OR

      (iii)  A bachelor’s degree in Law or Shariah below a CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 or its equivalent qualification may be accepted, subject to minimum 5 years working experience; OR

      (v) For specialised LLM for example Master in Construction Law, Intellectual Property or Banking Law, applicants without Bachelor of Laws can be considered, provided they have a degree in related field of studies

      Doctor of Philosophy (Engineering) (i) A Master’s degree or equivalent in an Engineering or Engineering Technology or related field from MMU or institutions recognised by Senate; or

      B Doctor of Business Administration (i) A Master’s degree from MMU or institutions recognised by Senate; or

      Candidates with APEL qualification admitted into the following programmes are subject to the internal assessment of MMU.

      The method of internal assessment for APEL candidates is in the form of an interview session conducted by the faculty and coordinated by IPS. The interview session shall be evaluated by a panel of THREE evaluators as follows:

      1. Deputy Dean (R&D) or his/her representative from the R&D committee as the Chairperson; and
      2. TWO subject matter experts in the area appointed by the Faculty Dean.

      IPS shall only play the coordination role to bridge the APEL candidates with the faculties for the interview session. The faculties shall arrange for the interview session and communicate the interview outcome to IPS to be further submitted to BOP for approval.

      All applicants must fulfill the English Language requirement in order to be admitted to the approved programme.

      The English language requirement and English interview is waived for the candidates who are natives of and/or have completed their Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees from countries that use English as the medium of instruction as well as the first language.
