The 18th of May, 2023 marked a significant day as the University Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) received a warm welcome from the Centre for Lifelong Learning and Educational Content Development (LEAD) for a benchmarking visit at the prestigious Multimedia University campus in Cyberjaya. Dr. Shafiza Mohd Shariff, along with her team, commenced their visit in the morning, with the meeting held in the Faculty of Creative Multimedia Meeting Room.

At the helm of the session was the Director of LEAD, Dr. Tengku Putri Norishah Binti Tengku Shariman, who, along with her dedicated team, delved into a focused discussion centred around the Open Distance Learning (ODL) programme. The primary objective of this engaging discourse was to gain insight into the requirements and the intricate process of the ODL programme implementation. Dr. Tengku Putri, accompanied by Ms. Nazirah and Ms. Farihan, delivered a comprehensive overview of ODL programme implementation to UniKL representatives, equipping them with valuable knowledge and perspectives.

Post-meeting, the UniKL representatives were provided with valuable input on the environment and facilities of the university. It is hoped that this initial encounter will serve as a catalyst for future collaborative endeavours.
